Let's talk about a quick overview of additional resources. There are features in either Office 365 or existing services that little is known about. The services that will be introduced in this lesson include flow, sway, powerBI, power apps, and planner. Flow Microsoft Flow is an online workflow service that enables an organisation to work smarter and more efficiently by automating workflows across its most common apps and services. Max and Flow can be used to automate workflows between an organization's favourite applications and services, synchronise files, get notification, collect data, and more. For example, with Macro Flow, you can automate the following tasks: instantly respond to high-priority notifications or emails; capture, track, and follow up with new sales leads copy files from one service to another; collect data about your business and share that information with your team; and automate approval. Workflows Sway is a free app from Maxwell Office. It lets you create and share interactive reports, presentations, personal stories, newsletters, vacation memories, school and work projects, and more. It allows users who have a Microsoft account to combine text and media to create a presentable website. Users can retrieve content either locally from the device in use or from the Internet. Power Bi is a suite of business analytics tools that deliver insights throughout your organization. Power Bi enables users to connect to hundreds of data sources, simplify data, prep, drive, and hock analyses, produce reports, and publish them for your organisation to consume on the web and across mobile devices create a personalised dashboard with a unique 360-degree view of their business and scale across the enterprise with governance and security built in. Power Bi consists of Windows desktop applications called PowerBi Desktop, an online SaaS (software as a service) service called Power Bi Service, and mobile PowerBi apps that are available on Windows Phone and Tablet, as well as for iOS and Android devices. These three elements, the desktop, the service, and mobile, are designed to let people create, share, and consume business insights in a way that serves them or their role most effectively. PowerApps PowerApps is a service that lets you build business apps that run in your browser or on a phone or tablet, and no coding experience is required. With PowerApps documentation, you get expert information and answers to others' needs. Configuring Your Microsoft 365 Tenant

1. Creating Users

Hi, it's Nadine speaking. Welcome to section two, configuring your Microsoft Office 365 tenant. In this video, we are going to see how to create new users. Account Types Available in Office 365 Net ID Account This account type is provisioned to an individual. The account is directly accessed via a single set of credentials. Users other than the primary user may be delegated access to this type of account. Delegates use their own Net ID and password to access the account. Multiple email addresses may be associated with this account. Service accounts that are intended to be used for shared roles or services These accounts can be accessed via a linked NetID password or by using the Services account. Direct username Password: Multiple email addresses may be associated with this account. Research Account A research account is a non-person-related account. An example is meeting conference rooms, audiovisual equipment, or a project. Users must be granted permission to interact with a resource account. Alternate: The alternate address is any net ID or service account that may have any number of email addresses associated with it. These email addresses include but are not limited to previous alias accounts and user or role service accounts that have been consolidated with the net ID. So let's create a new user and see how it functions. So please switch to your portal, office.com. On Portaloffice.com, Click on Admin to get to the Admin Center. When you are in the Admin Center, click on Users, then on Active Users, and you will get two options: add a user or add multiple users. For the first time, we will create a new user. When we click on Add, the user-first name will be User One. The display name will be the same, and the username will be the same. Select your location. I will select my country. Also fill in all the contact information you used to have, so the job title, the department, the office, the office phone, and so on and so forth. When you finish this, click on the password. You will get two options: to auto-generate your password or to create the password yourself. So I will create the password myself. Remember to make this user change their password when they first sign in. This is critical because the user will now have access to his personal password. Click on "Roles." For the default roles, the user will always get the nonadministrator access, the other permissions, or the other roles. I'll go over the global administrator and customise administrator in the following section. At the end, you get the option to select the licence or the product licence for the enterprise. But I will not talk about it because we will talk about it in the next sections I will click "Add".It asks me now for the email address of the user so that the user will receive the new password for the account. When the user enters the new password for the account, it gets the option to change the password and to enter his or her password. I will Send the Email" and close. After a few seconds, I will have the user created. So this is how you create a user in Office 365. Click "Add multiple users." You can import a CSV file with headers only, with all the user information. This way, you can import more users and have more users in your database. I will not do this right now. Click Cancel. You have more options here. When you click here, you get to export all users. You can reset the password for the user. You can delete the user. You can set a multi-factor identification rule on the user, which means that the user will need another device to confirm the sign-on on the portal. And you have a directory synchronization, which I will click on. And this is Active Directory preparation, which means Active Directory synchronisation allows your company's administrators to continuously sync your existing on-premises user and group accounts with the Asia Active Directory. 2. Modify an Office 365 Installation and Deployment

The "Click to Run" options can perform self-service installation by signing into the Office 365 Portal and then selecting "Install Software." This approach does not require much administrative setup but provides limited control over the deployment. So let's manage Office 365 Pro Plus deployments on the portal. So, return to your portal and configure it on the following apps management. Try clicking on Admin. When you click on admin, go to Show All. The option settings are available on the Show All page. Click on settings. Click "Services" and "Add Ins." You have a lot of services and a lot to add. Let's try to see where the Office software download settings are. Click on it. When it runs, you have the option to manually deploy user software. You click on it, and you get the option to deploy it on PC and mobile devices. And you can install Skype for business, and you can install software on a Mac. But we will click on "Learn How to Download and Deploy Software." When you click on it, you get the option "Manage Software." In the Download Settings in Office 365, the thing we're searching for is to manually download and install the Office apps by using the Deployment Tool. Click on it, and you get the option of using the Microsoft Download Center. Click on it. On the Download Center page, scroll down and download the Office Deployment Tool. Download I will save it on a folder on my C drive. So on this PC, I will create a new folder just for this, and I will call it Office 2016. In Office 2016, I will save the deployment tool. Click Save, wait for the download to finish, and open the folder. Run as administrator by right-clicking. On the first page, click here to accept the Microsoft licence terms and click Continue. Select the folder that we have created minus on the C drive, Office 2016, and click OK. waited to extract successfully. So we have three files here. When I click Edit on the first one with the 64, it will be displayed. the options I can change with the installation of Office Pro Plus. So you can change it here on the Takethe file or you can go to another portal, which is called ConfigOffice.com, and get there. a few options to choose from so you can decide which architecture to deploy? I want to deploy 64. Which product do you want to deploy? I will select Pro Plus, Visio if you wish, Project, and so on and so forth. I'll let everything go by default. With the update channel, I can select the semiannual channel if I wish. I'll make my choice right away. You can choose your preferred language, such as English or United States. Select Next. I will leave it at the default installation options. You can also make changes if you have the System Center Configuration Manager. Click Next on the update options. You can remove Visio or other project settings if you wish, but I will leave them as the default. Click Next. Click Next and enter the organisation name. Click Next. I will enter. Just packed. Click Next, and I will get all the options or the application preferences that I can select. But I will select the default, and I click. Just finish. Now I'm clicking on export. But before I click Export, I will see which options I have selected. That's on the right side. I have selected the organisation name, which is PackedProducts, Office Pro Plus Language, the installation options, the updates, the upgrade options, and so on and so forth. Now I'm going to export it. So I will click export. I accept the terms and licence agreement. The file is called configuration. I will click export. I will save it to the folder that I've created. It is the Office 2016 folder. The file is called configuration XML. Save and open the folder, and you can see here the configuration that I enter. I will click on Edit. You can see the comments for the installation here. So now I'll hold down Shift and right-click here on the right side, selecting Open PowerShell window. So enter setup x configure and the name of the file configuration XML. So the setup will now start, and we will just wait for it to complete. 3. Planning Hybrid Environment

We are going to plan a hybrid environment. But first of all, I know that my listeners and watchers love it most when I show them how it works in practice. But for the exam, that's ahead of you. So you need to know a little bit about the theory. So let's start this hybrid environment. A hybrid environment is when you connect your existing on-premises services such as Exchange and Active Directory with the corresponding services that are housed in the cloud. Each on-premises service and its corresponding cloud service create a trust connection that allows information to flow freely between both environments. Plan: When planning a hybrid, you should plan your hybrid Exchange environment, your hybrid SharePoint environment, and your Skype for Business hybrid environment. In the Exchange hybrid environment, you must consider the following hybrid deployment requirements Exchange ActiveSync clients mailbox permission; migration support for cross-promise mailbox permissions; offboarding mailboxes for forwarding settings; and changes to an Exchange hybrid environment should all be considered. The SharePoint Hybrid Plan includes a hybrid SharePoint Taxonomy and hybrid content types hybrid one drive business strategy Cloud hybrid search for SharePoint plans hybrid profiles Create an extensible hybrid app. Launcher plan a hybrid site following server-to-server authentication, federated search for SharePoint Server, and connectivity from Office 365 to SharePoint Server. Skype for Business: a hybrid when planning Skype forBusiness hybrid environment, you must focus on hybridconnectivity between on premises deployment of sky forBusiness server and sky for Business online. Split domain configuration has the following effect on users when you configure it userswho are home onpremises can interact withonpremises sky for Business servers. Users who are at home online can interact with Skype for Business online services. Users from both environments can collaborate with each other by using instant messaging, participating in conference calls, voiceover IP calls, and so on. And as Active Directory, Connect is used to synchronise the organization's on-premises directory with Office 365. 4. Planning Migration to Office 365

We are going to plan migration to Office365. You need to have a deployment planning checklist, clean up your directory, plan your mail migration, consider performance impact when migrating mail, and consider network impact when migrating mail. So what's with the cleanup? Before you begin synchronising your Active Directory, it's recommended to first clean it up. So ensure that each user who will be assigned Office 365 service offerings has a valid and unique email address in the proxy address attribute. Remove any duplicate values in the proxy address attribute, and if possible, ensure that each user who will be assigned Office 365 service offerings has a valid and unique value for the user. principle name UPN attribute in the user's object. Migration Options You can migrate using the three migration options. The first one is cutover migration. The second one is Sage Migration, and the third one is Hybrid Migration. the cat over immigration Using a cat overimmigration, you can migrate all the mailboxes in the office to Office 365 over a few days. Cattle immigration should be used if you plan to migrate your entire email organisation and manage user accounts in Office 365. You can migrate a maximum of 2000 mailboxes from your on-premises Exchange organisation to Office 365 using a cutover migration. The recommended number of mailboxes, however, is 150. Performance suffers once the number of mailboxes exceeds that amount. The mail contacts and distribution groups in your on-premises Exchange organisation are also migrated. Stage Migration A stage migration is similar to a category migration in that it ultimately enables you to migrate all your organization's mailboxes to Office 365. However, while a cattle immigration takes place over a coupleof days of stage migration, migrate batches of on premisesmailboxes to Office 365 over the course of a fewweeks or months and the last one. Hybrid Migration Hybrid migration deployment enables organisations to extend their existing on-premises Exchange organization's future rich experience and administrative control to the cloud. A hybrid migration provides the seamless look and feel of a single Exchange organisation between Office 365 and an on-premises Exchange 2013 or Maximum Exchange Server 2010. So it's the same thing on the 13th and the same thing on the 10th. Exchange Server, this is all for section two. There is a lot of theory, but we will have a lot of practise in the next section, which Ipromise I hope to see you in Section Three, where we are going to configure Office 365.

Configuring Office 365

1. Manage User Rights to Install Office 365 ProPlus

Section Three We are going to configure Office 365 in this section. In the first video, we are going to manage user rights to install Office 365 Pro Plus. but first manage deployment. Office 365 add-ins in the Office 365 Admin Center. Centralized deployment is the recommended and most feature-rich way for most admins to deploy add-ons to users and groups within an organization. Centralized deployments provide the following benefits A globaladmin can assign an add-in directly to a user, to multiple users via group, or to everyone in the tenant. When a relevant Office application starts, the add-in automatically downloads for the user. If the add-in supports adding comments, the addition automatically appears in the Ribbon within the Office application. Addins will no longer appear for users if the admin turns off or deletes the addin, or if the user is removed from Azure Active Directory or from a group that the addin is assigned to. Working with Office Online, there are many differences between Office Online apps and on-premises Office apps, including the following application level: differences with respect to features like WordOnline does not have advanced page layout tools or advanced printing capabilities. The user cannot preview or access outer OfficeOnline documents without an Internet connection. Office Online documents do not have OfficeEdits, and they cannot run Visual Basic for application or form scripts. Excel Online cannot create external data connections. Office Online provides an alternative way to use Office applications online. You cannot use Office Online in offline mode. You can use the following Office Online apps to view and edit documents online: For online, OneNote Online, PowerPoint Online, Excel Online, and Teams Online are some examples. So let's run your portal, Office.com, in your browser and let's get started. I locked myself in as the administrator. When I click here, you can see that you now have the option to install the Office component inside of East Login. It will install Office on my PC. I can manage the installation when I go to Admin > Show all settings, services, and admins. on services and admins. You get the option ofoffice software download settings. When you click on it, you get the option for software for PC and mobile devices. You can turn it off. You can disable Skype for Business. Finally, the same is true for Mac software. You can turn it off to save space. A You need to sign out to see if it's working. Sign out, and please sign in again to the portal. And as you can see here, there's no option to install Office on your PC. I will now go to the Admin Center and switch it back on. Show all sets, and you get the option. Office software download settings. I will switch it back on and then go for Mac. Click "Save Changes." Click okay. You need to sign out again. This option goes for every user in the Office 365 tenant. So sign out and please sign back in, and you can see now that there is the option to install Office. So this is all for now. 2. Installing Office 365 ProPlus from the Microsoft 365 Portal

Install Office ProPlus from the Max 365 portal. There is no time to waste. Let's get to work. Run portal.office.com in your browser. When you log in as administrator on your portal, you can see my account. You get the option to install Office. You get two options: Office 365 Apps and other installation options. When I click on Office 365 Apps, I get the option to install Office locally on my PC. I will click Now Cancel when the installation finished. If I had clicked on Run, I would have gotten all the apps that Office provides on my PC locally. Click Close and you get the option. Other Installation Options When I click on Other Installation Options, you get a few of them. Office tools and add ins.Skype for business and phone and tablet. The first one is Office, and all the tools will be installed on your PC. When you click Download, you can choose the language or version you want. When I click on Advanced, I get the option of 64 bit or 32 bit. Other options are Troubleshooting Installation If you get problems when you're installing Office, the troubleshooting installation will help you with the tools and add ins.I get the option to install tools to get the information. Path SharePoint Designer is selected for the business option. I can install different versions with different language options. and phone and tablet. I can install it on every device that is provided. Let's say I want to install it on an Android phone. I get the option of an Android phone, all the tools, and the option to get the app. That is all for the installation, and it's really easy to do it. The problem that can occur is that the installation does not want to run. Then you just refresh the site or open the site in incognito mode. The Office licence will be managed in the following video.

3. Managing Office Licenses

We will be in charge of the Office license. Office 365 plans are available for businesses and enterprise-level businesses. User Two. The username will be user two. The password will be the same. I'll get the roles. It will be just for a simple user. But now I have to decide the product license. when I click on it. I see here that I have 23 licences available. I can set it off later when I have created the user. I can set it back on and add all the tools or remove all the tools from this user. So I will remove flow themes. I will remove Sway, cloud, app security, and advanced eDiscovery. At the end, I clicked Add, sent an email, and closed, and I created the second user. Now I'm going to the billing option license, and I can see here that I used one more license. So I have used three licenses. But I will now enter as the user on the portal and see if I have teams because I removed it from the licence sign out.I will now add user two.com, who is waiting to login. Click close, and you can see here that I did not get the option to run teams or to install themes. In the next video, we are going to react to Office 365 Pro Plus.

4. Reactivating Office 365 ProPlus

We are going to reactivate Office 365 Pro Plus. There is no Terry. Let's get practical. So run your portal, dotOffice.com, and let's get started. There I am. I have created one more user on Admin. You can see it here. Users. Active users. I have created the third user here. But I'll go ahead and run the board or the Office tools that are installed on this PC to see who is registered to it. It's registered to Nadim Savvy with the Office 65 account. When I open a blank document, go on the left side and click File Account, and see it for yourself. There I am. But I will sign out, and I will sign in with another account. So if a new user comes to your organization, you can switch the laptop along with the installation of Office. So the user is three, and I get the password and type "enter." This is the account. Allow my organisation to manage any device. I clicked yes, waited a few seconds, and then reactivated the account for another user. You can do this every time you need it or every time you switch your account now, and you get the account for free.
